Private Tea Parties
We have 2 types of private teas to choose from. Each experience is priced per person with applicable catering minimums listed below:
The Afternoon Tea Austin Experience: a classic ‘afternoon tea’ experience using high-end, china place settings, teapots, with freshly prepared food and pastries served individually plated to each guest by a full wait staff. This experience is a lot of fun and can be hosted for any occasion!
‘Tea-Style’ Catering: our most popular and affordable tea party package! A buffet-style experience including freshly-baked pastries, sandwiches, salads, and hot steeped teas. This experience is perfect for a baby shower, birthday, wedding shower, or graduation party! It can also be any theme or decor.
The Afternoon Tea Austin Experience
Elevated Menu:
- Tea Sandwiches in 3-4 varieties. Standard choices are Smoked Salmon on Pumpernickel rounds, Cucumber, Egg Salad, Pimiento Cheese
- Savory Pinwheels. Standard choices are Spinach Feta and Bacon Cheddar
- Scones. Choice of sweet or savory.
- French Macarons in two flavors
- Lemon Bar Bites
- Shortbread or Sugar Cookies
- Mini Cupcakes in two flavors
- Choice of several fine teas
- Clotted cream, jam, cream, and other condiments
- Gluten free, Dairy Free, Egg Free, & Vegan options available (may incur additional cost)
The Rose Haven Afternoon Tea is a fun, delicious experience, served by a full staff. Guests will be seated in the Tea Rose Room, with the option of the Antique Rose Veranda, weather permitting. Each guest will order their choice of tea from a lovely list of flavor options, and be served the menu on a tiered tower of treats. Each guest will have a full place setting of China, Tea Cups, Water Glass and tea utensils, on beautifully set tables featuring our house floral linens.
Additional Options: Mimosas, Champagne, Custom Decor, Custom Florals
Pricing: starts at $60 per person and requires a $1,200 catering minimum (or a 20-person minimum).
‘Tea-Style’ Catering
’Tea-Style’ Catering is served buffet style and includes up to 3 hours of event time in the Tea Rose Room and Antique Rose Veranda using in-house furniture, serving ware, and disposable plates, cups, and utensils. Option to add linens, decor, flowers, china, and glassware for a fee.
Pricing: starts at $24 per person and requires a $480 catering minimum (or a 20-person minimum).
