To raise the funds to purchase a moderate collection of rental skates to use to host in the greater Wimberley Community until the skating rink is built. In this way, I will be able to bring the roller rink experience to the community! This will allow me to host family fun holiday events, and BYOB adult skate nights.

This is the pop-up Skate Fundraising event for the Wimberley Valley Roller Rink Project Development. As we get closer to the events and details are finalized I will make announcements about what we are prepared to offer. I am considering things like: A raffle, retro games set-up, FUN skate games/dances that everyone will enjoy(cha cha slide, cupid shuffle, Limbo, skate train etc). Fun retro skate playlist with a variety of community favorites. There will be food and non-alcoholic beverages served, and many more fun activities for families of all ages!
Hello Everyone! My name is Skye. I am a homeschooling mother of two, home keeper, partner to a wonderful man named Austin, and resident of Wimberley, Tx. I am in the midst of developing a business proposal for a Skating Rink/Community Center here in Wimberley that will benefit BOTH Wimberley, and surrounding areas, and I would LOVE to see you at my Pop-up Family skate night fundraising event coming soon to the Hill Country!

This vision started out with a desire to create SAFE spaces for youth to hang out in Wimberley during the school year after school and during the summer season when it’s too hot to be outdoors, and has since developed into a community center that will not only do that but also reach a wider demographic of people from young children to adults well into their later years in life doing activities such as Skating, swimming and Community movie nights, gardening and SO much more which will provide this diverse space with many options for revenue to help keep the business open for many years to come; these are all fun activities that benefit and bring together people of ALL ages! I hope this vision gets you as excited like it does me, and I hope to see you at future pop up events!
